Accused sentenced 8 months in prison in 2 theft cases

RSD- Vemulawada news: C.I. speaks to this extent, Md Irfan s/o md Daval 28yrs r/o Tangallapalli, who stole cell phones belonging to a person named Kemeji, father of Rathod Balaji, of Nirmal Town, and Pedda Veeraiah, father of Manjidi Rajaiah, of Vemulawada, on the day and date of 11-06-2024, 12.06.2024.  A complaint was filed at Vemulawada Town Police Station and two cases were registered and the accused was sent to remand. After the investigation, the investigating officer Anjaiah filed a charge sheet in the court and CMS S.I Ravinder Naidu led the court constable Suresh to present the witnesses in the court. On behalf of the prosecution, Vikrant was the plaintiff in the case and Judge Jyotirmayi, who examined the antecedents, sentenced the accused to 8 months in prison and a fine of Rs. 100/- on 13.03.2025 said Town Inspector Veera Prasad.
