RSD- Sircilla news: Sircilla First Class Judge Praveen gave a verdict on 18.01.2024 that the accused was sentenced to three years imprisonment and a fine of five thousand rupees in the case of chain snatching.

According to the prosecution details, Veeraveni Lata of Sircilla Town Gopal Nagar went to Gangamma Jatara along with her friends on 15-01-2015 when she was returning home, in front of Sircilla DSP’s office an unknown person stole a two and a half tola gold chain from her neck and Lata ran a short distance with him. In the case of Veeraveni Latha, the case was not registered in the Sircilla police station. In this case, the SSI Balakrishna, while patrolling with his staff at the Pedda Bazaar of Sircilla at 11 a.m. on 16-08-2017, stopped the suspect Allepukrishna and interrogated him in the presence of two panchulas. SS Balakishan took the criminal Allepu Krishna to remand and filed a charge sheet in the court, who admitted that he had stolen the chain belonging to Veeraveni Lata. In this case, court constable Vemula Naresh presented witnesses in the court under the supervision of CMS SI Srikanth, the criminal Sircilla CI Raghupathi said in a statement that he was sentenced to three years and a fine of five thousand rupees was imposed.
