Action will be taken if sirens are fit to vehicles against the rules

RSD- Sircilla news: The District SP said in a statement on 26.04.2024 that special drives will be conducted in the district, paying special attention to minor driving, triple driving, vehicles with police sirens and silencers attached to the vehicles to make loud noises. In the last month, cases have been registered against 05 vehicles for installing sirens against the rules in the district and the vehicles have been seized and 159 people have been fined and counselled against those doing triple riding. He said that 23 cases have been registered against minor drivers, 27 vehicles have been seized and fined for causing noise pollution by attaching double silencers to the vehicles. SP said on this occasion that, he warned that by giving vehicles to minors who don’t know the road rules and encouraging them, they are causing accidents due to unknowing driving, keeping this in mind, cases will be registered against the parents and vehicle owners who are caught conducting special drives in the district. He said that if sirens are fit to vehicles in violation of the rules in the district, the vehicles will be seized and strict action will be taken. In the past month, cases have been registered against 05 vehicles with sirens installed in the district and the vehicles have been seized. On this occasion, the SP warned that cases will be registered against the vehicles causing noise pollution by removing the silencers and seizing the vehicles causing trouble to others by riding triples at high speed.
