Age Is Just A Number : 90-Year-Old Woman Joins Kavithakka’s Telangana Rakshana Sena
Mustabad (RSD): The wave of joinings into Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) continues across Telangana on the orders of the party chief. On Wednesday, a large number of joinings took place in Avunuru village of Mustabad mandal, Rajanna Sircilla district.
The program was organized under the leadership of Sircilla constituency leaders Alle Shankar, Mustabad mandal in-charge Marwadi Devaraju, and Avunuru village in-charge Chinni Bal Reddy. Sircilla constituency in-charge Majeed attended as the chief guest and welcomed new members by draping the party scarves.
While women and men in large numbers were joining the party, an incident won everyone’s hearts. Madarapu Venkatavva (90), a 90-year-old woman who can barely walk with the help of a stick, came to the venue and declared, “I too will join Kavithakka’s party.”
Moved by her enthusiasm, Sircilla constituency in-charge Majeed draped a pink scarf around the elderly woman and welcomed her into the party with special thanks, calling her joining commendable.
Speaking on the occasion, Majeed said that people in the state are yearning for change and that everyone from children to the elderly is looking towards Kavithakka’s party. He said that due to Kavithakka’s public service, all the people of the state want her to become Chief Minister, and expressed confidence that TRS will win a massive victory in the upcoming elections and Kavithakka will definitely become Chief Minister.
He said it was particularly heartening to see women happily joining the party in every village.
The event was attended by Ellareddypet mandal in-charge Kadire Bhaskar Goud, constituency youth leader Syed Javid, mandal leaders Bairi Rajesh and others.
