Another step forward for women’s safety by TS government

RSD- Telangana news: State IT and Municipal Urban Development Minister KTR started the security program in the bus organized under the direction of Rajannasircilla District Police and District She Team in District Collectorate Precinct.

He said that the Telangana government will not only prepare the state of Telangana but will give priority to the protection of women and will undertake welfare programs. He said that the Telangana police department is doing a great job in maintaining peace and security and today Telangana police is number one in the country in crime control through CCTVs. He said that women will be assured.

In order to ensure the safety of women, working people, housewives for their needs, mostly in buses for work, students in school buses, in emergency times, during night and day trips, using modern technology as part of maintaining law and order, especially for the protection of women, the district police department have installed CC cameras in school buses. He said that it is commendable to install CC cameras in RTC buses as well as school buses through an assurance program so that women can travel safely and with full protection.

He said that CCTV cameras have been installed in 77 buses in the district so far and the rest of the buses will be completed in 10 to 15 days. The CCTV cameras installed in buses have been connected to the depot office and the district police office. The CCTV cameras installed in the school buses have been connected to the district police office.

The Minister was accompanied by State Culture Chairman Rasamayi Balakishan, ZP Chairperson Nyalakonda Aruna Raghavareddy, Textile Tile, Power Loom Corporation Chairman Guduri Praveen, TESCAB Chairman Konduru Ravinder, District Collector Anurag Jayanthi, SP Akhil Mahajan, Rythu Bandhu Samiti President Gaddam Narsaiah, Grandhalaya Chairman Akunuri. Shankaraiah, Additional SP Chandraiah, DSP Udey Reddy, Nagendrachari and police officers participated.
