RSD- Sircilla News: In a drug awareness rally from Netanna Chowk to Ambedkar Chowk in Sircilla town, students and police personnel along with district SP Akhil Mahajan, film actors , Balagam film director Yeldandi Venu, hero Priyadarshi, heroine Kavya, additional collector Satya Prasad, along with students participated
District SP Akhil Mahajan said that the youth and students are ruining their lives by getting addicted to intoxicating substances like drugs. He said that the program is being organized as a part of the program for the elimination of drugs in the district. Film heroes are the role models for everyone these days. That is why the film actors have been called for this program. Students of 8th, 9th classes in all schools in the district have participated. “ANTI DRUG CLUB’s” have been formed with 10th class students and one teacher, similarly with students in intermediate colleges. He said that in the last 6 months, 17 cases have been registered and 55 people have been arrested. Those who have any information related to ganja should be given information to Dial 100.

Director Yeldandi Venu said that if we want to be in a high position in life, we should stay away from intoxicating substances like drugs, we are all in front of you because we are in a high position without getting into any habits, but if any of our friends and colleagues are addicted to intoxicating substances, it is our responsibility to tell them well and ensure that they stay away from intoxicating substances. He called upon the students not to come near the rubbish like drugs.He said that even though we are all busy shooting for the film, we are fighting against anti-drugs for the children of our village Sircilla.

Film actor Priyadarshi called everyone to participate in the prevention of drugs. Such programs should be organized to create awareness among the people about the prevention of drugs. He suggested that the youth and students should recognize the dangers caused by drugs. It has been three years since I stopped smoking cigarettes, and now life is very peaceful, family members said. He said the positive reasons of why we should listen to the instructions of our parents, teachers and officials and to get settled inhigher position.

Cinema actress Kavya Kalyan Ram says that even though the police job is very busy, it is appreciable that the police have spared time for us and organized such programs and organized anti-drug clubs in every school and college.
Additional Collector said that the establishment of drug clubs in all the schools and colleges of the district under the district police department is commendable.Parents and teachers should pay attention to the behavior of the children from time to time.
