Attack on Christian Missionary School

RSD- Manchiriyala news: A missionary school in Manchiryala district of Telangana was attacked by some youths belonging to various Hindu communities. The attack took place when the principal asked some students why they came in religious clothes instead of school uniform. A group broke into the school and broke the things there and assaulted the staff. A case was registered on the complaint of students and parents regarding this incident. According to the authorities, it is about 250 km to Hyderabad. Mother Teresa High School is located in Kannepally village in the distant Manchiryala district. Jaiman Joseph from Kerala is working as the principal here. Less than two days ago, some students came to school wearing saffron clothes instead of school uniform. When the principal asked why they wore this dress, they replied that they wore it for the 21-day Hanuman Diksha. The principal told the students that if they call the parents, they will talk about it. However, some people posted the video on social media and commented that the principal did not allow students to come to school wearing saffron clothes. Knowing this, Hindu groups attacked the school. Some youths dressed in saffron chanted slogans of Jai Shri Ram and broke the window panes. The teachers pleaded with folded hands not to attack, but they did not listen. Some youths surrounded the principal and attacked him. Tilak was forced on his forehead. The protesters demanded an apology from the school management. In a video, stones were hurled at the statue of Mother Teresa in the school. As a result, the police entered the scene and registered a case against the school principal and another under the sections of hurting religious beliefs and creating discord between different communities on the basis of religion.
