Awareness program on HIV/AIDS on World AIDS Day – Rajannasircilla district
ZP Chairperson Nyalakonda Aruna Raghava Reddy, Sircilla Municipal Chairperson Jindam Kala Chakrapani, District Additional Collector Kimya Naik participated in the World AIDS Day program as chief guests and started the AIDS awareness rally.
In this regard they said on behalf of Chief Minister KCR of Government of Telangana that measures are being taken through art groups and other promotional tools to create awareness among the people about the disease HIV/AIDS, and the government medical and health department is providing necessary medicines and providing a monthly pension of 2016/- through Asara pension scheme for their financial needs.
Similarly, Minister KTR with special care in the matter of people’s health is taking steps to provide corporate level medical care with all the facilities in Rajannasircilla district main hospital and especially taking steps to provide medical services to AIDS patients and to ensure that they get full support pensions and various welfare schemes provided by the government to AIDS patients as well. There is no medicine to completely reduce the disease of AIDS, so prevention is the only way. People should use safe blood, safe syringes and lead an ideal life in the society by taking many precautions to avoid getting AIDS. Through various programs conducted by the government, many people have come to understand that AIDS is not transmitted through the air. District Medical Health Officer DR.Suman Mohan Rao, District Government Hospital Superintendent DR. Muralidhar Rao, doctors, staff, other voluntary service organizations and others participated in this program.
