Awareness rally on Anti-Drug Day

RSD- Sircilla news: Speaking on this occasion, Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha wished that students and youth should stay away from drugs and study according to a proper plan and achieve high-level jobs. He said that they should not become citizens who cause trouble to the society by using drugs. He explained that the use of drugs damages the brain, kidneys and lungs and gradually deteriorates health. He said that not only physical but also mental problems and social disorders arise with the use of drugs. He advised everyone to be aware of the harm caused by drugs from the student stage and stay away from them. He called on everyone to stay away from drugs and cooperate in building a better society. Later, SP Mahesh B. Githe said that students and youth should inform them if drugs are being used, sold, or transported anywhere in their surroundings, schools, or elsewhere. He made it clear that the details of those who provide information will be kept confidential. He said that our state and the country will be superior with a drug-free society. He hoped that the students should stay away from drugs and become anti-drug soldiers. The winners of the essay writing, painting and other competitions organized on the occasion of Anti-Drug Day were felicitated by the Collector, SP and others. On this occasion, the officers took a pledge together with the students. Later, they inspected the stalls set up under various police stations in the function hall premises. The Collector and SP congratulated them after seeing the pictures drawn and paintings made by the students. Later, the Collector, SP, officers and students signed the flexi as an anti-drug soldier on the occasion of Anti-Drug Day.
