Cyber criminal arrest for cheating 7 lakh
RSD- Chandurthi news: Speaking on this occasion, the SP said that two people named Kapil Sharma and Pankaji Kaushik from the state of Uttar Pradesh are committing fraud by sending the XTcoin.Com web application link on WhatsApp, claiming high profits with low investment. Part of it is that Gugulothu Ramesh s/o Jalapati, a software engineer from Devuni Thanda village of Chandurthi mandal, is currently working from home and is staying in the village. On 8-12-2024, a person sent a link to the XTcoin.Com web application to his mobile saying that if he invests in online trading, he will get more money. Ramesh first invested 2500. The next day, when he looked at the website, he saw that he had invested more money, so he decided that it was true. He invested 7,32,000 rupees in unexpected installments. After two days, he tried to withdraw the amount, but it could not be withdrawn. After another two or three days, the entire site was closed. Ramesh immediately realized that he had been cheated and filed a complaint at the Chandurthi police station. The Chandurthi SI registered a case and as part of the investigation, Chandurthi CI Venkateshwarlu while investigating the case on the orders of District SP Mahesh B. Gite, Chandurthi CI Venkateshwarlu, Cyber Crime SI Junaid, Gangaram Head Constable, Cyber Crime Constable Mahesh arrested the accused in Jaipur, Rajasthan based on technology and sent them to remand on 26.06.2025, the SP said. He specially congratulated the special team Chandurthi CI Venkateshwarlu, Cyber Crime SI Junaid, and staff Gangaram and Mahesh for their clever action and arresting the above accused in Jaipur, Rajasthan based on technology.
