Awareness rally on Anti – Tobacco Day- Rajannasircilla District

District SP Rahul Hegde has inaugurated rally by waving the flag for Anti- Tobacco Day which was held from the district government hospital to Gandhi at Sircilla today morning, under the lead of DMHO to aware  youth on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day. This rally was held for Anti-Tobacco Day in order to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and making tobacco smoking a passion.

He also said that fines and petty cases would be filed against smokers. People were also asked to stay away from smoking. SP said that action would be taken against smokers when done in crowded areas. DMHO DR. Suman Mohan Rao said, “Cigarette smoking can cause nicotine to enter the brain and cause brain cancer, heart disease and other diseases.” Dr. Meenakshi said that smoking, chewing tobacco, cause oral cancer, and problematic to the health of the foetus, which is detrimental to their health. In this program. Hospital Superintendent Muralidhar Rao, District Program Officer Dr. Sriramulu, Krishnamurthy, Srinivas, Suresh, Asha Workers Nursing College students and others have participated.
