BIS conducted awareness program at K. G. B. V. Sircilla

RSD- Sircilla news: On 20.12.2023 at K. G. B. V. Sircilla Patashala, an awareness program was organized under the Bureau of Indian Standards BIS. The program was inaugurated by District Education Officer A. Ramesh Kumar, Standards Additional Director C. H. Vidisha and G. Prabhakar BIS Resource Person made the students aware by informing them in detail about BIS Mark on the occasion of 77th Foundation Day Hall Mark for Gold Jewellery, Agri Mark for Agricultural Products ISI Mark for quality of various goods How useful ISI Mark is for checking the authenticity of various goods

After making the students aware about the details of BIS care App, a writing competition and a poster making competition was conducted for the students and cash prizes were given to the winning students. G&E CO Padmaja , District Science Officer Pamula Devaiah, K. G. B. V Sircilla specialist K. Pavani, School Standards Club Incharge Divya and school teachers and students participated.
