Check for tractors/trolleys without number plates within the district.
RSD- Sircilla: In the last three days, a special drive was conducted on the tractors/trolleys running on the roads without registration number and number plate and 513 vehicles were identified and fined and the drivers of the tractors were made aware and number plates were installed. The district SP said in a statement on 09.6.2023 that cheating cases will be registered if some numbers are hidden or deleted.
SP said that in the district, tractors/trolleys like tractors/trolleys are running without number plates, and to check them, a special drive was conducted from 05-06-2023 to 08-06-2023 in the district and 513 vehicles were identified and fined, and number plates were arranged for such vehicles without number plates. He said that they have been warned that cheating cases will be registered on them.
He warned that if the tractor drivers did not follow the traffic rules, through regular checks vehicles will be stopped under the direction of the police department, those who drive rashly and drive fast, who cause fear to fellow drivers, people and pedestrians, minor drivers, and those who drive without a driving license are warned.
He warned that those who are driving vehicles without following traffic rules and using different number plates instead of the number plates associated with their vehicles to escape from the clutches of the police, strict action will taken in them and their vehicles will be seized.
He said that the people of the district should cooperate with the police and fasten the number plates of their vehicles as per the rules, if the number plate is not installed against the rules cheating cases will be registered against the motorist.
He said that it is not our intention to impose fines, but we are organizing special drives to make people obey traffic and road rules and create awareness.
