Cultural traditional day celebrations- Vikas Degree and PG College
In the cultural traditional day celebrations organized by Vikas Degree and PG College in the town on 15.04.2023, Municipal President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani participated as special guest, Councilors Darnam Aruna Lakshminarayana, Gaddam Latha Bhaskar, Diddi Madhavi Raju, BRS Party Urban Mahila President Battula Vanaja Ramesh were the guest of honour.
On this occasion Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Association said that today’s students have to work for the development of tomorrow’s future India, so first of all we appreciate the management of Vikas Degree and PG College for organizing such a great program to show the greatness of our culture and traditions. With the goal of a healthy Telangana, the Chief Minister KCR said that the Poshan Abhiyan program of the state is being organized throughout the month of September to inform the people about the importance of nutrition. Besides, the state festival recognizes the Bonala festival which is very sacredly celebrated by the Telangana people as part of our cultural traditions and the Bathukamma festival which is a part of the history of Telangana and festivals like Ramzan Christmas are organized by the government and they are making special efforts to preserve the customs and cultural traditions of the people of Telangana. Minister KTR is respecting the culture and traditions of the people of all religions as part of the customs affairs of the people of Telangana and is coordinating the representatives of the public and the officials and are providing appropriate support and assistance for their festivals in terms of the government. On this occasion, she said that she specially congratulated all the students who prepared and presented Telangana traditional dishes very tastefully in a festive atmosphere in such a fine program on 15.04.2023. Today due to work pressures people are getting used to junk food and neglecting our traditional cuisines but everyone should recognize that traditional cuisines play a very important role in maintaining our health.
With the cooperation of Chief Minister KCR, due to the efforts of Ministers KTR, educational institutions such as degree, PG colleges, engineering colleges, medical colleges, ITI colleges etc. have been established in Rajannasircilla district so that all students can study towards reaching high goals in whatever fields they choose and bring laurels to our region. Diddi Srinivas, Principal of Vikas Degree and PG College, lecturers, college staff and students participated in this program.
