Cycle rally under the District Police Department on the occasion of Flag Day week – Rajannasircilla district
District SP Rahul Hegde attended and participated the cycle rally organized under the supervision of Rajannasirciilla District Police as a part of Police Martyrs Remembrance Week celebrations. A spirited cycle rally from Ambedkar Square in Sircilla through Netanna Chowk New Pond to Bathukamma Ghat on the banks of Maneru was done.
In this regard, SP said that the efforts of the police, who are carrying out their duties with commitment in public protection and maintaining peace and security, without counting their lives, are commendable. He said that Police Flag Day is organized every year to commemorate the sacrifices of those who died working for public welfare across the country. He suggested to take inspiration from the sacrifices of the martyrs and get closer to the people and get forgiveness. He said that Telangana Police has a good reputation in the country and they want to work to enhance it. He suggested that the sacrifices of the police martyrs should be remembered and everyone in the society should be responsible for achieving their ambitions. Everyone should cycle for one hour every day as they believe that by doing cycling they can get a healthy body. Essay competitions, short films, photography, open house, cycle rally, blood donation are part of the police martyrs week celebrations. He said that camp programs have been organized and prizes will be given to them on 31st. SP CIs Anil Kumar, Upender, RIs Kumaraswamy, Yadagiri, SIs RSI officers and staff participated in this rally.
Similarly,at vemulawada cycle rally was conducted from police station to korutla bus stand and return to police station by police staff of Vemulawada police station.
