Prashant Kishore spoke about BJP’s chances of winning at the national level. He reminded that while Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha, West Bengal and Bihar have a total of 204 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP did not win more than 50 seats here in 2014 or 2019. He said that in 2014, saffron party won 29 seats and in 2019 ,47 seats. A few days ago, Prashant Kishore also made similar comments in a special interview given to a national magazine called The New Indian Express. At that time, YCP leaders reacted strongly to Prashant Kishore’s comments.
Prashant Kishore worked as an election strategist for YCP in 2019 elections. Jagan introduced Prashant Kishore to the YCP leaders and activists in a public meeting held before the Maha Sankalpa Padayatra. After YCP came to power, Jagan along with his wife attended a wedding held at Prashant Kishore’s house. Even after the 2019 elections, Jagan is using the i-pack team for his election activities. However, after Prashant Kishore entered direct politics in Bihar, Rishi Raj Singh was running the I-Pac team. In this background, it was spread that there was a big gap between Jagan and PK.
