RSD- District news: On 26.06.2024, as part of the call given by the state committees of Municipal Workers Union, Gram Panchayat Workers Union CITU, a large scale dharna was organized in front of the Collectorate in Rajannasircilla district and a petition was presented to the Collector. Telangana Municipal Workers & Employees Union CITU State General Secretary Comrade Janagam Rayamallu attended this dharna program and said that the previous government has acted carelessly ignoring the problems of the gram panchayat municipal workers who have been working hard to keep the villages and towns clean for many years. He reminded that before coming, the municipal and gram panchayat workers were promised to increase their wages and solve the problems.

Even though six months have passed since coming to power, not a single problem has been resolved so far. He warned that if it is not carried out, a large-scale Hyderabad assembly siege program will be carried out with all the gram panchayat municipal workers across the state during the upcoming assembly meetings. CITU District Secretary Kodam Ramana, Municipal Workers Union District Secretary Gurram Ashok, Gram Panchayat Workers Union District President Mallyala Narsaiah, Secretary Annaldas Ganesh, Gurjala Sridhar, Municipal and Gram Panchayat Union Leaders Kasarapu Shankar, Lingampally Krishnaveni, Burra Srinivas, Sultan Narsaiah, Dobbala Lacchaiah , Varkolu Mallaiah, Anjaiah, Srinivas, Mahesh, Padma, Mamata, Lakshmi, Rajaiah and others participated.
