District Police cracked the case of attempted robbery of KDCC Bank within 24 hours:

RSD- Ellareddypet News: District SP Akhil Mahajan revealed in a media conference that the person who tried to rob the KDCC Bank in Ellareddypet mandal center was caught within 24 hours based on technology and the possessions of a pulsar bike and a hand cutter were handed over.

  1. Pilli Chandu, s/o Shankar, r/o Dumala, Ellareddypet Mandal.

Going into details,
A person named Pilli Chandu from Doomala village of Ellareddypet mandal used to work as a welder in Ellareddypet mandal and used to drink alcohol and want to lead luxurious life with the income from this. As the income of the accused was not enough for his luxurious, the accused chose the way of theft to earn easy money. With the intention of opening the bank lockers with the help of a hand cutter which he had brought with him, he tried to open the lockers with the help of the cutter and ran away from there. The sweeper working at KDCC Bank went there on 19.06.2023 morning around 08:00 A.M and saw that the shutter of the bank was up and called the bank manager. According to the complaint of the Bank Manager, a case was registered at the Ellareddypet Police Station, dog squad and fingerprint evidence were collected in the vicinity of the bank, SI Task Force Maruti Special Team was formed under the supervision of Ellareddypet C.I. The SP revealed that when he was caught and interrogated at his residence, he confessed that he had tried to commit the theft.
