RSD- Sircilla news: Many people travel during the summer as children have holidays. This is also the time when thieves start thefts. The District SP advised the people to be vigilant and take appropriate precautions in advance. All measures have been taken to control thefts during the summer, people are being alerted, patrolling is being intensified in villages and towns at night, and people within the district have also been advised to cooperate with the police who are taking precautions in this regard. The District Police Department has several suggestions to the people on the precautions that people should take while going to the village.

1. It is better to keep gold ornaments and cash in the house or keep them in a bank locker.

2. In view of the summer, it is advised to ensure that there is no valuable gold jewelry worn while sleeping outside the house and to be vigilant so as not to forget it and sleep.

3. Do not keep the locks of the almirah at home and take them with you.

4. Do not post on social media that you are in a hurry to go on a trip, even to the village.

5. Do not tell others about valuables and personal information.

6. A central locking system and CCTV cameras should be installed at the main door of the house.

7. By installing IP CCTV cameras, you can view the status of your house on your mobile.

8. Lights should be turned on inside and outside the house.

9. CCTV cameras or watchmen must be installed in the apartment.

10. The relevant police station, VPO/WPO constable can provide information and the mobile number of such officials should be kept nearby.

11. If the people and the police work together, thefts can be  controlled.

12. When going to villages after locking the houses, the people around them should inform the local police station.

13. If anyone sees suspicious people roaming around the colony or the surrounding areas of the apartment, they should immediately inform the local police or dial 100.
