RSD- Sircilla news: Dr. Chitikena Kiran Kumar was honored by Rajanna Sircilla District Sahitya Samiti in Sircilla on 02.10.2025. A member of the International Benevolent Research Forum who has made his mark in literature through stories, poetry and criticism, a short film writer of O Thandri Teerpu, and a prominent literary figure, Dr. Chitikena Kiran Kumar was recently honored by the All India Padmasali Welfare Association in Hyderabad with the National Poet, Late Dr. Vaddepalli Krishna National Literary Award. On this occasion, Rajanna Sircilla District Sahitya Samiti President Dr. Janapala Shankaraiah and General Secretary Vengala Lakshman honored Kiran Kumar in Sircilla. Sahitya Samiti President Dr. Janapala Shankaraiah said that it is a great thing to write short stories in more than a hundred magazines. General Secretary Vengala Laxman said that it is a matter of pride for us that the great poet Vaddepalli Krishna, who has written thousands of Lalitha Geetas, received the first award. He wished that Dr. Chitikena Kiran Kumar would receive more awards in the future.
