Drug resistance awareness program

RSD- Sircilla news: On 25.07.2025, an awareness program about drug resistance was organized for the students under the Anti-Drug Committee at the local Cess Government Girls College. The meeting, chaired by the Principal of the college, Smt. G. Vanaja Kumari, was attended by Sub-Inspector Vinitha Reddy and Anti-Drug Warrior Police Constable Venkata Ramana as the chief guests and explained the harms caused by the use of drugs and the punishments imposed on those who transport and use them. The students were asked to keep an eye on their families and surroundings and inform the police department of anyone using or supplying drugs, and their names will be kept confidential. If anyone has any problems, they should inform the Telangana Narcotics Bureau on their toll-free number 1908. Later, saplings were planted in the college premises as part of the Swachhtahi Seva program. In this program, college lecturers Murali, Seetharam, K. Sunitha, Srinivas, Aproj Sultana, Praveen Kumar, Naveen Kumar, Sunitha, Zabiullah, Ganga Raju, Shahida, Krishnaveni and students participated.
