Economic development of women is the government’s goal

State Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar said that the Telangana state government is working for the economic development of women. On 18.04.2023, interest-free loans were distributed to women groups at the government junior college grounds in Dharmapuri constituency center. The minister said that the government will implement many welfare schemes for women empowerment. In the past, it was difficult for a community to get a loan of one lakh rupees, but the Telangana government provides interest-free loans of lakhs of rupees to women associations. It is hoped that women would establish small industries and businesses with these loans and achieve financial support. Our state has women welfare schemes unlike anywhere else in the country. Ontari, Mahila Pension, Aarogya Lakshmi and other schemes have been implemented. Women who have received loans have been asked to achieve economic growth.
