Ekalavya Adarsh Gurukul School students dharna – Rajannasircilla district

On 08.01.2023, the students of Ekalavya Adarsh Gurukula School of Rajannasircilla District organized a Dharna Rasta Roko at Ellareddypet Bus Stand at 5 am to solve their problems. In this regard, ABVP State Hostels Convener Maraveni Ranjith Kumar said that the students are getting sick due to insects and earthworms in the students’ food and the principal is harassing the students. Watchman Ramaswami is misbehaving with students and causing trouble while getting drunk. Warden Ramya is causing trouble to students. We demand full investigation and suspension of Principal and Warden Ramya Watchman Ramaswamy Kitchen Master Bhadrama. We are demanding to form an inquiry committee and solve the problems of KGBV in Gurukula, hostels, otherwise we will soon lay siege to the collector’s office. The agitation was stopped after the RCO assured that action would be taken against all who troubled students. In solidarity with them, the All-Party leaders said that the gurukula schools in the Sircilla constituency are in a poor condition and were angry at the government’s attitude of not keeping the gurukula in excellent condition. The behavior of the attendant and principal of Ekalavya Gurukula School was disgusting and they were asked to suspend them immediately. In this program, students were present along with Bharatiya Janata Party and All India Student Association.
