RSD- Chandurthi news: A person who caused injury to a person by installing electric wires at agricultural fields has been arrested and sent to remand. Stringent action will be taken if electric wires are installed near agricultural fields, for wild animals and disturb the lives of people. Chandurthi CI Kiran Kumar disclosed the arrest details in a media conference organized at Chandurthi Police Station.

On this occasion, CI Kiran Kumar said Bedrapu Narasimha Reddy and his wife Varshini of Ramannapet village of Chandurthi mandal planted saplings in their farm on 25-12-2023 when they were not enough they asked Tippani Rajaiah s/o Ramayya who belongs to the neighboring farm of the same village. Narasimha Reddy and Varshini went to Rajayya’s farm at around two o’clock in the afternoon to take the saplings, Narasimha Reddy was injured by the electric wires around Rajayya’s farm. Narasimha Reddy’s wife Varshini, who was there, ran and told Chintala Devayya, who was standing next to him, and immediately the transformers were stopped and Narasimha Reddy was taken to the hospital.

Strict action will be taken against those who are causing death of people and wild animals by fencing electric wires to avoid forest animals at agricultural fields, recently two people died due to electric wires erected for some wild animals in Marimadla village of Konaraopet mandal and Manala village suburb of Rudrangi mandal. In this regard, a case was registered against them and they were sent to jail under the PD Act. So it is a legal offense for people and poachers to set up electric wires for wild animals, and also to take the lives of wild animals. Therefore, strict legal action will be taken against whoever commits such actions. SI Rajesh and staff were accompanying the CI.
