Five years imprisonment for SI in corruption case

RSD-Karimnagar District news: Judge Kumar Vivek of Karimnagar ACB special court on 22.08.2023 evening sentenced the accused SI to five years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 in the crime of corruption.

According to the prosecution story, Ranga Dharma Goud of Kamareddy went to Dubai for his livelihood and was working there as a driver. His son Naresh Goud fell in love with a girl near the house while studying for his degree and got married.

On the complaint of the young woman’s father, Kamareddy town police registered a case against Naresh and took it to court. He called the town’s SSI Dharmagoud and demanded a bribe of Rs.6 thousand for that charge sheet in favor of Naresh.
On May 4, 2006, ACB officials caught SSI taking a bribe of Rs.5 thousand at Dharmagoud.
