New Record of Telangana Gurukula Students

RSD-Hyderabad news: The Operation Blue Crystal project undertaken by the Telangana government for the students of Gurukul is creating a new history.

Students from social and tribal welfare gurukuls showed their strength in the first round of NEET counselling. Around 180 people secured MBBS seats in the first round of counselling.

135 people got seats from social welfare gurukulas and 45 people got seats from tribal gurukulas. Among them, 30 are regular inter students and 105 are from long term.

Five students from minority residential junior colleges of Telangana also got medical seats.

The power of tribal gurukulas
Last year 41 people got medicine seats from tribal gurukulas, this time 45 people got seats. 18 of them are girls. 8 people were selected from regular inter and 37 people from long term.

For the first time, a student belonging to Particular Vulnerable Tribal Groups, PVTG, also secured an MBBS seat. Sangarsu Sravanti of PVTG secured a seat in Pratima Institute of Medical Sciences, Karimnagar
