Gang rape of a girl in Karimnagar
RSD- Karimnagar news: A girl from a village in Kothapalli mandal of Karimnagar district was sexually assaulted by two youths from the same village. They filmed the rape on a cell phone and made viral on social media. The incident came to light late. It is understood that the two youths had been close to the girl for some time. It is learnt that they had become addicted to drugs and had also made her addicted. A week ago, the three of them went to a deserted place together. After that, they sexually assaulted the girl one after the other. A video was shot during the sexual assault. Later, these videos were posted on local WhatsApp groups three days ago. With this, the videos went viral. As these videos went viral locally, the girl came to the attention of her parents. When the girl was questioned, she narrated the atrocity that had happened. With this, her parents approached the Kothapalli police to take action against Vishwatej and Sunny, who had committed the sexual assault. CI Billa Koteshwar, who stepped into the field on the orders of local ACP Vijay Kumar, conducted an investigation and registered a POCSO case against two youths. Both of them were arrested on 13.10.2025 and sent to remand. Meanwhile, many youths in rural areas are becoming addicted to drugs. After seeing adult content on social media, they are enticing girls and getting them addicted to drugs. After that, they are committing such atrocities. The twist here is that the police recently organized an awareness program in the same village to prevent youth from becoming addicted to drugs. This incident became a sensation a few days after it happened.
