Government stands by the textile industry – SPTC Chairman

On 01.04.2023, under the auspices of the Mind Care and Counseling Centre, the leaflets prepared by eminent psychologist K. Punnamchander on mental problems were released by Telangana State Powerloom and Textile Corporation Chairman Guduri Praveen.

Speaking on this occasion, Guduri Praveen said that the government stands by the handloom industry. He said that the Telangana government has created and implemented many welfare programs for the welfare of the workers and they should be utilized. He said that in order to support the handloom industry, the government is directly supporting the textile industry by allocating the manufacturing of Bathukamma sarees, various types of welfare department, KCR kit, Ramzan gift, Christmas gift to the handloom industry. He said that the aim of the government is to provide continuous work to the workers and financial self-reliance to their families. He said that schemes like yarn subsidy, thrift scheme and Netanna Bhima were designed keeping in mind the workers. Eminent Psychologist K. Punnanchander, Mind Care Center staff Vemula Annapurna, Boora Srimati, Rapelli Latha, Konda Uma participated in this program.
