ZP chair person Nyalakonda Aruna Raghava Reddy inquired about the purchase details of Rabi season grain in the district. He said that the relevant authorities should monitor and take appropriate measures from time to time without the problem of gunny bags, porters and transport. They want to see that the unloading of grain at the rice mills is done quickly. They want to see that the money is credited to the farmers’ accounts as soon as possible after buying the grain. He said that Telangana government will undertake development and welfare programs like nowhere else in the country. He said that Rajannasircilla stands as an example in the development and welfare programs of the district.

Apart from sensitizing the people at the field level about them, the officials should work with the participation of the local public representatives to ensure that the fruits of the government scheme are received at every step. The department should keep a special focus on the progress of the programs being carried out in the district from time to time and ensure that the works are completed within the stipulated time.

In view of the special opportunities for dairy development in the district, dairy buffalo units should be granted to deserving people. He said that if they are given special training before handing over the units, there is a chance of getting high profits.

The officials of Mission Bhagiratha said that they should prepare activities to visit all the villages in their mandal every week. He said that there is a possibility that all problems will be solved. He said that the government will give 35 percent subsidy for the establishment of mini food processing units in the district. He said that units can be established either by individuals, groups or through packs. They want to focus on the establishment of agricultural allied sectors and food processing units while focusing on crop rotation while breaking away from the traditional methods of agriculture.

As the government is providing large scale subsidies to the mini food processing units, they should grab those opportunities and achieve financial self-reliance. Beneficiaries had to struggle a lot to give a loan of one lakh rupees during the reign of the then governments. He said that our Telangana state government will provide financial assistance to the people of all sections for the establishment of units. He said that through the Dalit Bandhu scheme, huge financial assistance will be provided to light up the lives of Dalits.
