Grant of Yarn Depot to Rajannasircilla District

RSD- District news: Special thanks to Telangana State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for setting up yarn depot at Vemulawada center in Rajannasircilla district. Telangana State Government has issued instructions granting Yarn Depot to Rajannasircilla District with center Vemulawada through GEO No. 18 dated 05-10-2024. Telangana State Government has set up Yarn Depot which has fulfilled the dream of loom workers who have been waiting for almost 30 years. Through this Yarn Depot in Telangana, 30 thousand weavers working on nearly 40 thousand looms across the state will be benefited. The establishment of yarn depot mainly at Vemulawada will directly benefit approximately 30 thousand loom workers in Rajannasircilla district center and surrounding areas. Setting up a yarn depot will provide direct employment to the leaders of the weaving industry without depending on investors. 50 crore funds have been sanctioned for this yarn depot. Yarn Depot is managed by Tesco. Tesco supplies the yarn needed by the loom workers and buys the cloth on credit basis. The leaders are happy about the sanction of the long-awaited yarn depot. Telangana State Government Whip Adi Srinivas is expressing joy on the establishment of Yarn Depot at the center of Vemulawada and expressed special thanks to Ponnam Prabhakar.
