Green Festival in 17th Police Battalion

who was the chief guest at the Harithotsavam, a program organized in 17th Police Battalion in celebration of Telangana state’s birth decade celebrations, inaugurated the newly established “nursery” in the battalion and later participated in the Green Festival program and planted a sapling.On this occasion, the municipal chair person said that it is possible to restore the oxygen levels in the environment only by planting large trees. It is urged to increase the percentage of planted forests for abundant rains. Explained the benefits of planting saplings to the environment.
Commandant M. Jayaraju said that as part of Telangana State Incarnation Decade Celebrations, on 19.06.2023, 17th Police Battalion Sardapur organized a “Green Festival” program.

He said that as part of this Green Festival program, all the officers and staff planted various kinds of plants like guava, mango, almond, Ficus, Hibiscus papaya, ranapala, red sandalwood. He said that it is a pleasure to be a part of such a program.

Assistant Commandant in this program Parthasarathy Reddy, Sri Narayana, 9th Ward Councilor Lingampally Satyanarayana, local public representatives, officers and staff participated.
