Inauguration of Agriculture College buildings at Jillela – KTR and Niranjan Reddy

State Ministers KTR and Niranjan Reddy inaugurated the new building complexes of the Agricultural College built in a pleasant environment near Tangallapally mandal of Rajannaircilla district. Later, the building complexes were inspected. Along with the ministers, Legislative Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, State Planning Commission State Vice President Boinapally Vinodkumar, MLAs Chennamaneni Rameshbabu, Rasamayi Balakishan, Sunke Ravishankar, Agriculture Department Secretary Raghunandan Rao and Collector Anurag Jayanthi were present as guests.

On August 9th, 2018, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of a complex of agricultural college buildings in the Rajannasircilla district, Tangallapally mandal. In the same year, admissions of students through EAMCET started under the PGTSAC, and classes were started in Agricultural Polytechnic College, Sardapur. 56 students got admissions in the first batch. They graduated in August 2022 with an agriculture degree. Thus a whole batch was completed without its own building. At present 190 students are studying here in B.Sc Agriculture.

A special building with all the facilities has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 69.50 crores in a spacious area of 35 acres in the suburbs of Jillella in Tangallapally mandal. This college next to main road so that students from Sirisilla, Siddipet, Hyderabad can make available of the route for college. For the convenience of the students, a college building, separate hostels for female and male students, an agricultural research field and farm lands have been constructed on 19 acres and 16 acres the G Plus 2 style buildings were constructed. A new premises has been made available with modern technology.
