Inauguration of grain purchase centre at local 9th ward -Sircilla
On 23.04.2023 in the inauguration ceremony of the rice grain purchase center organized under the Mepma in the local 9th ward, municipal president Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, TSPTDC chairman Mr. Guduri Praveen, BRS party district president Thota Agaiah, town presidents Jindam Chakrapani and Lingampally Satyanarayana were the chief guests. .
Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Association, said that the Chief Minister of Telangana State, KCR, is on behalf of the Telangana government to buy the rice grown by the farmers at the government’s support price through centers like Mepma and IKP.
Due to the fact that the reserves of doddu type paddy in the FCI mills in the country are filling up beyond the future requirements, as per the ideas of State Chief Minister KCR, under the guidance of Minister KTR, all the farmers should grow alternative crops like palm oil, vegetables, sunflower, pulses and rice grains.
Thousands of purchase centers across the state so that the farmers can sell grain in full by talking to the officials and public representatives and making all the arrangements like fresh water accommodation and transportation facility through lorries so that the farmers do not face any difficulties. Agriculture department officials, MEPMA officer Rajesham, VAEO, RPs, Amali community, farmers and ward people participated in this program.
