Initiative for transfers, promotions and appointments – Golkonda Sridhar

RSD- Sircilla news: Telangana State United Teachers Federation State Secretary Golkonda Sridhar demanded that the state government should take the initiative to resolve the case pending in the high court on the transfer of teachers and if not possible, take up the process of promotions and appointments.

TS UTF district committee meeting was held at Kusuma Ramaiah Boys High School Sircilla under the chairmanship of district president Pakala Shankar Goud. Sridhar was the chief guest and he expressed concern that children are not getting quality education due to thousands of vacant posts in schools. Vacancies will be filled through promotions and appointments. They demanded immediate release of all the bills which have been pending with the government for months after getting approved in the treasuries, announcement of two outstanding installments of DA and immediate appointment of PRC committee. He called on the teachers to cancel the CPS, give the old pension to the 2003 DCS teachers, and prepare for a step-by-step united struggle to resolve other issues.
