RSD-Hyderabad news: Kavitha has once again faced disappointment in the Delhi liquor scam case. The court dismissed her bail plea. Judge Kaveri Bhaveja issued the verdict denying her bail. It is known that she will take a crucial decision. It is reported that the decision of the trial court is ready to be challenged in the Delhi High Court. BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has once again faced disappointment in the Delhi liquor scam case. The court refused to grant bail to her, who was arrested and is currently in Tihar Jail, in this case which has created a stir across the country. The Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi has issued its verdict on the petition filed by Kavitha seeking bail in the CBI and ED cases. Denying her bail, she dismissed the petitions. Judge Kaveri Bhaveja of the Special Court has issued the verdict to this extent

ED arrested Kavitha on March 15th 2024 in the Delhi Liquor Scam case, CBI took her into custody on April 11th 2024 while she was on remand. There are allegations against Kavitha that they manipulated Delhi’s liquor policy in their favour. Kavitha to AAP for framing liquor policy in favor of Rs. 100 crores bribe, CBI and ED alleged. Kavitha has been accused of collecting a bribe of Rs.100 crores from the South Group syndicate. In this case, it is alleged that they got 33 percent share in Kavitha Indospirit without investing a penny. The ED and CBI officials arrested her and took her to custody.

However, a petition was filed in a special court to grant bail in CBI and ED cases. Arguments on the petition were held on the 22nd of April 2024. Kavitha’s lawyers argued that the case was filed by a political party. He argued that there was no evidence against Kavitha. The lawyers of ED and CBI countered these arguments. It was argued that Kavitha should not be granted bail. It was argued that Kavitha is the main conspirator in this case. If she comes out, there is a possibility of destroying the evidence and there is a possibility of threatening the witnesses. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court adjourned the judgment to 2nd May 2024 and then to 6th May 2024. Recently, ED and CBI dismissed Kavita’s bail petitions, agreeing with the arguments of the lawyers. With that, she is likely to approach the Delhi High Court against the trial court’s verdict. Kavitha is currently in Tihar Jail. Her custody will end on 07.05.2024. With this, she will be produced before the court once again.
