RSD-District news: A meeting was organized on 07.02.2025 at Rajanna district center with the unions supporting the victory of TPTF candidate Y Ashok Kumar, who is going to contest as MLC from Ummadi Karimnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, and Adilabad teacher constituencies. The meeting was chaired by TPTF District President and Convener Dumala Ramana Reddy and TSUTF President Co-Convenor Parakala Ravinder. TPTF State Vice President Pathuri Mahender Reddy and TS UTF State Secretary Golkonda Sridhar, who participated as the chief guests in this meeting. They said that Y. Ashok Kumar has been in the teaching profession for 36 years and has been a leader in TPTF from the mandal level to the state level, continuously building movements for the welfare of teachers and education sector and has earned a reputation as a leader with complete understanding of the problems of teachers in the education sector. Ashok Kumar, who is synonymous with honesty, commitment and selflessness, is the right candidate for the Teacher MLC. He said that he is requesting the teachers to make Ashok Kumar win with first priority votes in the elections to be held on the 27th of February 2025. The TPTF and TSUTF presidents said that the welfare of the teachers in education sector is the goal of Ashok Kumar and if he is elected as MLC, he will constantly stand by the side of the teachers and work for the welfare of the education sector. They said that they will stand by the teacher’s movements and work tirelessly to implement the common school education system in the state and strengthen government educational institutions. They said that the owners of corporate and real estate business companies are trying to grab the position of teacher MLC with the power of money. They urged the teachers to defeat money politics and elect the leaders of the movement as teacher MLC and work for the welfare of the teacher education sector. They asked the teaching world to bless Ashok Kumar, who is contesting with the support of TSUTF, SCSTUS, TGJLA, BTF, Model School, RESIDENTIAL teacher unions as well as KGBV teacher unions.
