Man arrested for defrauding innocent women in the name of support pensions

RSD- Sircilla news: In a statement on 27.08.2023, District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS said that Sircilla Town Police has arrested a person who was involved in fraud by collecting money from innocent women claiming to give support pensions in the district and seized many documents.


Details of Accused
1.Bairagoni Lingaiah, Father: Ellaiah, 43 years, Residence: Reddy Wada Sircilla.
SP said on this occasion that accused Bairagoni Lingaiah introduced Boini Sujatha of Marupaka village saying that he would give support pensions to her and demanded Rs.45,000/- from her. After a few days, she was told that her pension has been sanctioned and henceforth she will get Rs.2000/- every month, but the accused Lingaiah deposited Rs.2000/- into Sujata’s account every month for one or two months. Lingaiah, who was involved in fraud was made to known to the surrounding people that the petitioner had received support pension.He said that Sircilla Town Police arrested a person at his house on 27.08.2023 and seized some documents and produced him in court.

SP requested that if there are any accused persons who were cheated by Bairagoni Lingaya that they would give support pension in the district, they should file a complaint in the concerned police station.
