Municipal Chairperson Assures Full Support for Srinagar Colony Development

RSD_Sircilla:Sircilla Municipal Chairperson Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that welfare societies play a crucial role in the development of colonies.

She attended as the chief guest at the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected executive body of the Srinagar Colony Welfare Society – Sircilla.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson congratulated the newly elected President Naveen and other executive members. She advised the new committee to work in coordination to protect basic amenities in the colony and to resolve public issues.

She said that a colony develops further only with people’s participation and assured that the municipality is always ready to extend necessary cooperation.

She expressed hope that the office bearers will live up to the trust of the colony residents and that the Srinagar Colony Welfare Society will stand as a model for other societies by organizing various social and cultural programs.

Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that the problems previously brought to her notice by the colony residents are being resolved in a phased manner. Keeping in view the Vinayaka immersion and upcoming festivals, she said morum is being filled in pothole areas and CC pipes are being laid for the drainage system wherever required. She said more development programs will be taken up in the coming days to provide better services to the people.

Later, she administered the oath to the new executive members.

Councillor Vemula Ramulu, BRS Party Sircilla town President Jindam Chakrapani, Srinagar Colony Welfare Society new President Naveen, executive members, society members, colony residents and local public representatives participated in the program.
