Officers and staff should use new technology in maintaining law and order

On 09.05.2023, Multi Zone-1 IGP S. Chandrasekhar Reddy IPS along with Zone DIG Ramesh Naidu and District SP Akhil Mahajan inspected the newly constructed District Police Office in the district and held a review meeting with the District Police Officers in the District Police Office and reviewed the Division, Circle and Police Stations. The details of their performance and their duties were discussed. SP said that law and order is under control in the district and the performance of officers and staff is very good and everyone should work responsibly as a part of maintaining law and order. Officers and staff should be imparted with new technology. Police officers want to serve the public by performing their duties within the law. There should be quality investigation so that the criminals are punished in the cases.

He said that she team plays a vital role in the protection of women and that cases should be registered immediately against students and those who commit hooligan acts against women. He asked the police officers not to be negligent regarding the safety of women. He informed that he should reach the incident site without any delay and provide full assurance to the women. They want to focus on the CCTV cameras in the villages under the jurisdiction of the police station. They want to educate the rural people about the CCTV cameras that crime can be controlled based on the CCTV cameras. According to the order of the Supreme Court, CCTV cameras have been installed in every police station and the officers have been advised to monitor the CCTV cameras every day.

He directed the officials to focus on proactive, visible and community policing. He advised the officials to keep a vigil on illegal activities like ganja, sand, ID liquor, drugs, organized gambling, poker and other illegal activities in the district.

The officials were advised to be vigilant and perform their duties during the arrival and departure of VIPs and VVIPs and advised them not to be lax in their duties.

Later, police officials and police housing board officials inspected the newly constructed district police office along with the contractors and ordered them to complete the remaining works as soon as possible and prepare for the inauguration ceremony.
