RSD- Sircilla news: Sircilla Second Class Judge Gaddam Meghana pronounced the verdict on 27.03.2025, sentencing the accused in the theft case to one year in prison, Illanthakunta SI Srikanth said. According to the details, a person named Gurram Sudhakar Reddy from Maskanpet, Illantakunta mandal, said that his motorcycle was burnt and he took it to Erroju Venu Gopalachari, who runs a motor winding shop in Illantakunta mandal center, and gave it for repairs. However, since there was no one there during the Holi festival, unknown people stole the wire at night, which is about 40 meters long and is worth about four thousand rupees. S.I. Raju filed a case at the Illantakunta police station and after investigation, the thief, Gottemukkala Kanakayya, father Nayakayya, age 48, from Vanthadupula village, Illantakunta mandal, was arrested and remanded. Later, S.I. Raju filed a charge sheet in the court, while Public Prosecutor Peddi Vikrant argued on behalf of the prosecution, while C.M.S.R.S.I. Court Constable Tirupati, under the leadership of Shravan, introduced the witnesses in court. After examining the antecedents of the case, Judge Gaddam Meghna sentenced the accused to one (1) year in prison, Illantakunta SI Srikanth said in a statement.
