RSD- Sircilla news: The district police department is working with the aim of getting rid of drugs in the district, inspectors and SSIs along with their respective staffs are conducting random checks in pan shops and grocery shops in the rural and urban areas in the area of the police stations across the district about ale of ganja and any other drugs banned by the government.

SP said on this occasion that the district police department is working with the aim of getting rid of drugs in the district and awareness programs are being conducted in the district through solicitation programs to educate the people about the harm caused by drugs. In recent times, cases related to ganja chocolates are being registered in many places, and in our districts, Ganja was previously reported in Sircilla town limits. Cases related to chocolates have been registered. Therefore, surprise checks have been conducted on 31.01.2024 in the pawn shops within the district and warned that cases will be registered and strict action will be taken according to the law for those who have ganja or any other intoxicants in the district and sold to others. If there is any information about the sale or possession of marijuana, narcotic substances prohibited by the government in grocery shops or any other shops, people should immediately message SP at 630-392-2572 or dial 100 or the nearest police station to provide information.
