President Police Medal for Additional SP Chandraiah

RSD- Sircilla news: Chandraiah who is working as additional SP in Rajannasircilla district has been selected for the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service by the Government of India on 25.01.2024. District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS congratulated Additional SP D. Chandraiah on his selection for the President Police Medal. Chosen for President Police Medal D. Chandraiah joined the police department as an SI in the year 1991 and after training, he first took charge in Kothaguda Police Station as SI, and performed duties in many police stations in Warangal. Later, in 2007, he took charge of the post of Inspector and as an Inspector, he was involved in removing terrorism in Warangal, Adilabad and Khammam districts. In the year 2017, he took charge of the post of DSP and served as the Crime ACP in the Ramagundam Commissionerate and in the ACP cadre in Hanmakonda and Cyberabad. After that, he worked in the Karimnagar Police Training College. At the same time, was promoted as Additional SP in the year 2021 at Rajannasircilla district. He has been performing duties in the district for the last two years after taking charge as Additional SP of the district.

The state government has given the service scheme and the best service schemes for the best services in the police department. In recognition of 34 years of long service, the Government of India has chosen to award the President Police Medal for Meritorious Service during the Republic celebrations.
