Rash drunk and driving killed a person
RSD- Sircilla news: Sircilla DSP Chandrasekhar Reddy said that on 10-11-2024, a person named Mohammed Siraj, s/o Afzal, 45 years old, from KCR Nagar Mandapalli village, Tangallapalli mandal, was going to the Dargah in Gollapalli with his family members in his auto and had darshan and was returning to his mother-in-law’s house in Chandrampet. On the same day, at 5.30 pm, he heard a noise in the auto at Kothacheruvu and stopped the auto on the side of the road and checked it. A person named Kailash Ram, a resident of Nimmapalli village in Konaraopet mandal, from Siricilla towards Vemulawada, was driving rashly on a two-wheeler after drinking alcohol and hit Siraj, who was standing next to the auto. Siraj sustained three injuries. He died in the morning in a hospital in Karimnagar on 18-11-2024. A case was registered on the complaint of Siraj’s wife Aprin Firdoz. The CI said that he was arrested on 25.11.2024 and taken into remand. The DSP said that if anyone drives a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and causes the death of others, legal action will be taken against them. Therefore, no one should drive a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
