Registration in just ten minutes
RSD-Telangana news: The state government has launched a new policy to complete the registration process quickly. The government has made the slot bookings system available for registrations. Revenue, Housing, Information and Civil Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that from now on, registrations can be made with slot bookings. He said that the slot booking system for registrations will come into effect from the 10th of April 2025. He said that it will be implemented in 22 sub-registrar offices on an experimental basis. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that a check will be put on double registration with an amendment to the law. Currently, registrations take about 45 minutes. Now, with the slot bookings system, the government has made it easy to complete the registration process in just 10 to 15 minutes. The government has taken steps to provide better and more efficient services to the people in a transparent and corruption-free manner. As part of this, arrangements are being made to ensure that registrations are done in the sub-registrar offices through the slot booking system. Minister Ponguleti said this at a recent review meeting on the Stamps and Registrations Department. He said that through the slot booking system, people can complete the registration of documents quickly without having to wait for hours for registrations. He said that the government will take steps to modernize the sub-registrar offices to use technology for this using artificial intelligence (AI) and chat bots. In the review, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy instructed the officials to reorganize the sub-registrar offices in view of the slot booking system.
