Sapling distribution program on World Environmental Day

RSD- Sircilla news: As part of the ambitious 100-day action plan undertaken by the Telangana government to celebrate World Environment Day, a sapling distribution program and environmental protection pledge were organized at the Sircilla Municipal Corporation office on 05.06.2025. Speaking on the occasion, the Municipal Commissioner said that environmental protection is a very important issue for humanity at present. Accordingly, we should plant trees wherever possible, protect shade trees, create awareness among everyone about building toilets against open defecation, and keep our surroundings clean by not throwing garbage wherever it falls, but by giving it to the garbage cart. By doing this, we will not only gain complete understanding on these issues but also create awareness among others for protecting our environment. Assistant Engineer Narasimha Swamy, Town Planning Officer Sai Krishna, Revenue Officer Ram Mohan, Junior Accounts Officer Swarna Latha, TMC Mahalakshmi, municipal staff, MEPM staff, NGO organization Paura Seva Samiti President Rishikeshkar Srinivas, and the public participated in this program.
