Sircilla 19th ward declared as Atma Nirbhar Ward – Municipal president

On 13.01.2023 in the local 19th ward under the leadership of the council members Annaram Srinivas, the Atma Nirbar Bharat Ward awareness program organized as a part of Cleanliness Survey 2023, Municipal Sangha President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani participated as the chief guest and declared the 19th ward as Atma Nirbhar Ward.

In this regard, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Corporation said that according to the ideas of Chief Minister KCR and according to the orders of Minister KTR, in order to solve the sanitation problems in the town of Sircilla, the members of the ruling class, officials and staff are working hard to make it a clean Sircilla.  She said that the 19th ward has been selected as the Atma Nirbar ward as part of Swachh Survey 2023 this year and people’s cooperation is very much needed for this. As a part of Atma Nirbar Ward, the people should convert their household waste into compost and use it for various plants, all the people should separate the waste from their household and commercial complexes into wet dry and harmful waste and give it to the municipal waste collection vehicles. She said that the septic tanks in the houses should be cleaned. She said to ban the use of single-use plastic and establish a cloth bank through women’s associations and provide those cloth bags to the needy people, to use cloth bags, similarly to establish a fund for cooking utensils and see that RPs are used by all those in need. Similarly, open defecation and burning of garbage should be completely banned in the wards, various types of taxes to be paid to the Municipal Corporation should be paid on time, everyone should contribute to the development of the city through the above measures, people, public representatives, officials said that everyone should work hard to make the 19th Ward fully Atma Nirbar Ward. Today, women are leading in all fields and are becoming pioneers of the society, so in the same spirit, a member of the Mahila Swayam Samayika said that she should play a key role in making the 19th Ward an ideal ward by making the 19th Ward an Atma Nirbar Ward by conducting a campaign on Swachh Survey rules in the ward. Municipal Commissioner Sammayya, Vice Chairman Manche Srinivas, Councilors Darnam Aruna Lakshminarayana, Lingampally Satyanarayana, Municipal Officers, Mepma Officers, Members of Women’s Associations and Ward People participated in this programme.
