TS Government Award to Dr. Kandepi Rani Prasad, A noted writer from Sircilla

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Telangana government has announced awards for women who have rendered distinguished services in various fields. Bharati Holikeri, Special Secretary to the State Government issued an order on 06.03.2023 selecting a total of 27 people from various fields for these special awards. For this year (2023), the government will award a total of 27 women with a cash award of Rs 1 lakh each.

Dr. Kandepi Rani Prasad, a famous writer from Sircilla, was selected for the state government award. This recognition was also given for her service in literature.
