Strict action will be taken if DJs are set up in violation of rules

RSD- Vemulawada news: On 17.08.2025, a meeting was held with DJ owners in the city limits at the police station and it was made clear that strict action will be taken if the DJ owners are found to be operating in violation of the rules, ignoring the instructions of the police. Speaking on the occasion, the CI said that strict action will be taken against DJs who set up boxes with amplifiers in violation of the rules. He warned that strict action will be taken against DJ owners and organizers who set up boxes with amplifiers at mandals or in Shobhayatra during Ganesh Navratri celebrations and cause inconvenience to the public. He said that only small speakers should be set up at Ganesh mandals with the permission of the police officers and that too only till 10 pm. He clarified that due to the high noise levels, DJs who make loud noises are disturbing the education of young children and students and the health of the elderly, they are receiving Dial 100 calls against DJ organizers and that DJs are not allowed under any circumstances within the Vemulawada town limits.
