Strong security in the district during assembly elections

RSD- Sircilla news: 200 Central Armed Police Force personnel of two companies of BSF have come to help the Rajannasircilla police personnel to prevent any untoward incident in the wake of the upcoming assembly elections. On 23.10.2023, along with 100 district police personnel and 200 central forces, the flag march was flagged off by the district SP Akhil Mahajan IPS, from Sircilla Town Police Station via Gandhi, Ambedkar, Gopal Nagar intersections to B.Y. Nagar, Sanjeevaiah Nagar, Venkampeta will continue in the procession which continued till the new bus stand.

On this occasion District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS said that arrangements are being made to conduct the elections in an armed manner, without any peace and security issues, and that in connection with the upcoming elections, central forces with 200 assembly men will come to the district and more forces will arrive soon. There are 560 polling stations in the district, out of which 118 critical stations have been identified. Strict action will be taken as per the law against anyone who behaves in violation of the law and is seen to create trouble.

He said that old criminals are being bound over as part of precautionary measures. He reminded that 05 check posts have been set up at necessary places in the district. He said that strict checks should be made to prevent crimes such as illegal cash movement and seizure of seized items without proper documents. BSF Commandant, Additional Commandant, Sircilla DSP Uday Reddy, CI Upender, RI Yadagiri, SI police personnel and BSF personnel were present in this flag march.
