RSD_Tahsildar arrested for illegal register of land

RSD- Chandurthi news: According to the CI report, Santi Lasmava of Malayala village in the Chandurthi mandal has one acre of land in survey number 322/4/1 on the outskirts of the village. He has been cultivating it for the last 40 years. He has also received the Rythu Bandhu money related to the land. When the Rythu Bandhu money did not arrive, Lasmava’s daughter Pramila contacted the authorities and found that only 06 kuta were shown on the Dharani portal instead of 40 kuta. An inquiry was conducted at the Chandurthi Revenue Office and it was found that the remaining 34 kunta of agricultural land had been illegally transferred to Gonti Rajanarsu of Malayala village by the then Tahsildar Naresh in 2018-19. Therefore, action should be taken against Gonti Rajanarsu, who illegally transferred the one acre of land in the name of his mother Lasmava, and the then Tahsildar Naresh who changed the patta, and the authorities. Based on a complaint filed by Lasmavva’s daughter Santi Pramila on November 27, 2024, a case was registered and Tahsildar Naresh, who was already suspended in three cases, was arrested and remanded on 04.01.2025. CI Venkateswarlu said that Gonti Rajanarsu, who had the patta changed, has died. He said that two cases have been registered against two people who had previously worked as Tahsildars of Chandurthi Mandal and retired, and three cases have been registered against Naresh.
